Hi! My name is Hope Hutto. My husband, cats, and I live in beautiful Central Florida, an area just filled with all sorts of beautiful and interesting tourist attractions. One of them is "Ritzykitz Cattery!"
I have been breeding and showing these gorgeous Pointed Persians for about nine years. I have just started working on the rare colors of Chocolate and Lilac, in the last few years.
I am working on the improvement of the health, temperament and the standards by which CFA judges these gorgeous animals.
Our cats are fed "Life Abundance" and "Royal Canin" food and liberal doses of TLC. We have a wonderful relationship with our Vet, Dr. Hart of Altamonte Animal Hospital. We make sure out cats are happy, healthy, and humanly imprinted. Whether it be a show baby or a pet, all our cats are loved and valued members of our family. We are a PKD negative cattery. We have tested negative for all types of contagious diseases, and keep high standards of immunization, sanitation, and preventative health practices!
Our cattery is actually our entire house. We would like to thank the cats for allowing us to live there! We have separate rooms for the studs and queens with an adorable nursery for the kittens. We isolate queens having their kittens, and any newbies, until fully tested.
Our cats have all the toys bells and whistles any "spoiled children" could have!
I would be remiss, if I did not thank those who have been my mentors and friends in the Cat Fancy. My thanks to Janet Tyra, "Tyland Cattery." for helping me with my first breeding pair, and always being there, as a mentor and a friend. Her work has been the foundation lines of many a chocolate cattery, and I am honored to continue her work. I would like to thank Gillene Kirkwood, "IMUltrachic Cattery," who by a twist of fate, gave me a start in Chocolates, with offspring's from Tyland's "Mr. Goodbar Of IMUltrachic." She has been a treasured friend and "show buddy." Friends are the best part of breeding and showing these beautiful cats!
A very special thanks goes to my web designer and webmaster, Michele Robinson. Michele helped me when I needed it most, and has not only designed a website that fits "Ritzykitz," perfectly, but has become a treasured friend! These are "forever" friends......it doesn't get any better than that!
Last, but certainly not least, I would like to thank my family, and most importantly my husband, Wayne, who loved me enough to put up with all the little extras, cat breeding brings, cat hair a la clothing, hair balls, midnight litters, and even little furry alarm clocks! Without his support, there would be no "Ritzykitz."
